Secret Santa came to Greerton

Today we had secret Santa come and give us all presents it was really good😊

Rodger dressed as Santa and helped pass out the prezzies 🎁 We all had lots of laughter and smiles from all! Thanks to everyone it was great.

Retro Party

I had a great time at the end of year party dancing the night away with my Arohanui friends. The food was good as was the wine! I had a blast! The staff at Arohanui did our hair and makeup that afternoon so I was already to party, party, PARTY!

End of year BBQ

I had such a nice time at our end of year BBQ ,with all my friends at Yatton park. The day was so beautiful,we saw lots of birds and Butterflys. We also in groups played photo scavenger hunt that was so exciting. I really enjoyed myself. Photos to come 

Drama production

We just had our drama production, I was Jacks mother we had a great time performing in front of my friends.

Rock and roll dancing

We had a visit from two couples from the Rock and roll club to demonstrate how to dance. I really had a great time dancing to the music.

My hat

I had an awesome time embroidering my floppy hat with my friends yesterday. I chose a beautiful silver embroidery cotton and added a red felt flower I made. 

Drummer girl

I had great fun playing on the drums yesterday. I made sure every one could hear my beats!

Veggie Soup

Today I pulled the leaves off the Silverbeet and crushed the beef oxo cube for our awesome veggie soup in cooking. It was fun hanging out with my friends and making the soup with all the veggies from our Arohanui garden.

Music

I had fun dressing as a superstar in music and singing and dancing.

Cooking

Today I had fun mixing the milk and soda for our banana and berry muffins. I also enjoyed greasing the muffin trays with butter.

Roger's Farm Visit

I had great fun with my friends at Roger's farm in the Waikato. We got to feed a little lamb called Bobby, pet the calves, feed the pigs, and look at the cows, horses and chickens. It was really awesome.

Queen

I found a throne to sit on, in the renovation room. Sitting pretty, aren't I just the queen bee? 

Waikareao walkway

I had a lovely outing to Waikareao walkway, we had a nice walk along to enjoy the scenery. what a nice time to be had with my friends in the fresh air

Pottery

I painted my fish dish with blue glaze,it looks really pretty.

Tea party

We had a tea party at Arohanui in girls group. I enjoyed the scones with jam and cream and my cuppa tea. What a lovely relaxing Thursday arfternoon.....

Elms mission

I had a lovely time at Elms mission looking at all the old buildings and beautiful gardens. I even rang the church bell.

Mixed media art

I had some fun in art,we used our handmade stencils to print patterns on paper....getting ready now to make some cards for our gallery.

Knitting

This week I have been working on some knitting in my spare time between activities.

Drama Production

I really enjoyed dancing and singing in our drama production. We had a big audience  come to watch us perform.

Guide dogs

I had a wonderful time when the puppies visited the centre to talk to us about how they will be trained to be guide dogs. Their fur was so lovely and soft. 

Electric drums

I had fun playing on the electric drums, i am really good young along to music. 

Music

I had a great time in music dancing and playing musical instruments.

Pottery

Today we worked on our coil pot project,we're making a large 'milk churn' storage jar....I helped to roll coils and build up the pot.

Happy tunes

I was enjoying my time on the piano keyboard playing my tunes. It warms my heart listenining to happy music......

Drama

Every Wednesday I go to drama, I really enjoy it.

Pink Ribbon morning tea.

I had a really lovely time at our pink ribbon morning tea. we dressed in pink, had lovely treats and raised money for a good cause.

I made name monsters at lunch time, fun!

Crocodile

In pottery I made a crocodile all by myself,I like to make things using my imagination.......last week it was an elephant !!
